Wings2Aspirations Startup India Pvt Ltd (the "Company", "we", "us", "our") operates MakeMyCareer.AI (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your personal data and privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. The person whose data we collect is the "Data Principal" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act").

1. Information we collect

B. Free career quiz (no account needed)

You can take the quiz without registering. Your answers are used in your browser to show your result. Only if you choose "Email me this result" do we receive and store your email address, an optional WhatsApp number, your academic stage and your top three quiz results, and we send you the result by email. If you tick the consent box we may also send occasional career and scholarship tips; you can opt out at any time.

C. Deadline reminders

If you use reminders we store the deadlines you track (name, link and the date you confirm), your notification choices, and, if you choose WhatsApp reminders, your mobile number and the time you gave consent. We send reminders only for dates that you have confirmed.

D. Sharing your report with parents

If you create a parent link, we generate a read-only summary page containing your first name, academic stage, selected career paths, suggested colleges and scholarships, estimated costs and an action plan. It does not include your email, phone number, address or school. Anyone who has the link can view it until you stop sharing (or delete your account). The page asks search engines not to index it. You are responsible for choosing who receives the link.

E. Collected automatically

IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent and interaction patterns, collected through Azure Application Insights, and through Google Analytics and Google Ads tags subject to your cookie choice (see Section 5).

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with colleges, universities or coaching institutes, and we have no institutional partnerships or commissions.

3. Security and international transfers

Encryption: your data is stored in Microsoft Azure data centres that use industry-standard security, including encryption at rest and in transit.
Access control: access by our team is limited on a need-to-know basis.
Payments: handled by PCI DSS-compliant payment partners; we never see or store your full card details.
Transfers: our service providers may process data in data centres outside India. We rely on appropriate safeguards and comply with transfer rules under the DPDP Act.

No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach affects you we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.

We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use: essential storage (keeping you logged in, remembering preferences), and analytics/advertising measurement tags (Google Analytics and Google Ads). When you first visit, these Google tags start in a restricted state without cookies. If you choose Accept, we enable analytics and ad-measurement cookies. If you choose Essential only, they stay restricted. We do not use your data for personalised advertising or remarketing (ad personalisation is switched off). You can also change cookie settings in your browser, but parts of the Service may not work without essential storage.

6. Children and minors

The Service is intended for students aged 14 and above (Grade 9 and higher). Under Indian law a person under 18 is a child for data-protection purposes.

If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has consented to your use of the Service and to this policy.
We do not direct advertising at children and we have turned off ad personalisation on our site.
The DPDP Rules, 2025 were notified on 13 November 2025; the detailed notice, consent and children's-data duties take effect 18 months later (around May 2027). We are preparing verifiable parental-consent checks in line with those Rules. Until then we rely on the parent/guardian confirmation above.
A parent or guardian may contact us at any time to access, correct or delete a child's data or withdraw consent.
If we learn that we hold data of a child under 14 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

7. Your rights

Subject to law, you can: access a summary of the personal data we hold about you; correct or complete it; erase it; withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect earlier lawful processing); nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated; and use our grievance process below. To exercise a right email Support@MakeMyCareer.AI. We may need to verify your identity first.

Quick controls: every reminder email has a "Stop email reminders" link; reply STOP to any WhatsApp reminder to switch WhatsApp reminders off; you can stop sharing a parent link from your dashboard at any time.

8. How long we keep data

Accounts and journeys: for as long as your account is active and up to three (3) years after your last interaction or account closure, unless a longer period is required by law.
Free-quiz email leads: up to 12 months after your last interaction, unless you create an account or ask us to delete it sooner.
Reminders: until you delete them or your account is closed.
Parent links: until you stop sharing or your account is closed.
On a valid deletion request we erase or anonymise your data, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date; for material changes we will notify you in the app or by email.

10. Contact and grievances

For questions, requests or complaints about your data, email Support@MakeMyCareer.AI with the subject "Privacy". We will respond within the time required by law. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.
