Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (the "Terms") carefully before using the MakeMyCareer.AI platform, operated by Wings2Aspirations Startup India Pvt Ltd (the "Company"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service description

MakeMyCareer.AI (the "Application") is an AI-powered career guidance platform designed to help users make informed career decisions. It offers:

• A free career quiz that gives a quick, directional result without an account.
• AI-generated career recommendations.
• A university and scholarship search feature, based on a curated list and AI suggestions.
• An interactive chat with an AI counselor.
• Deadline reminders by email and, if you opt in, WhatsApp.
• A shareable, read-only summary you can send to your parents or guardians.

We have no institutional partnerships or affiliations and receive no commissions from colleges, universities or scholarship providers.

2. User eligibility

The Service is intended for students aged 14 and above (Grade 9 and higher). By using the Service you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 14 years old.
• If you are under 18, you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian to use the Service and agree to these Terms. Your parent or guardian is responsible for your compliance with these Terms.

3. AI content disclaimer and accuracy

• Not professional advice: recommendations, quiz results, chat responses and other information are for informational and guidance purposes only and are not professional career, financial or legal advice.
• Independent verification: we do not guarantee that AI-generated or curated content is complete, accurate or current. You are solely responsible for verifying information, including fees, cutoffs, university deadlines, scholarship details and eligibility, on the official website before making decisions.
• Reminders: reminders are sent only for dates you enter and confirm. They are a convenience, not a guarantee. We are not responsible for a missed deadline, a wrong date, a delayed or undelivered message, or a change by the institution or scheme.
• No liability for decisions: your reliance on information from the Service is at your own risk. The Company is not liable for educational, career or personal decisions made based on the Service.

4. Payment and no-refund policy

The business model of MakeMyCareer.AI is a one-time payment for access to the paid career guidance services for the access period shown on your plan at the time of purchase.

• Upfront payment: full features require payment before onboarding and activation.
• No refunds: all payments are final and non-refundable, including for dissatisfaction, change of mind or non-use, except for the limited exceptions in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

The free quiz is provided at no charge and may change or be withdrawn at any time.

5. User responsibilities

• Accurate information: provide true, accurate and complete information (marks, interests, etc.). The quality of recommendations depends on it.
• Lawful use: use the Service only for lawful purposes and without infringing others' rights. Do not misuse, scrape, overload or attempt to break the Service.
• Account security: keep your login details confidential.
• Sharing: if you create a parent link, anyone who has it can view the summary. Share it only with people you trust and use "stop sharing" in your dashboard to disable it. Do not enter another person's phone number or email without their permission.

6. Notifications

By switching on email reminders you agree to receive them. WhatsApp reminders are sent only if you provide your own number and tick the consent box. You can stop email reminders with the link in any email, stop WhatsApp reminders by replying STOP, or change your choices in your dashboard. We may still send essential account and payment messages.

7. Intellectual property

• Company IP: all rights in the Application, including its design, AI models, technology and content (excluding user input), belong to Wings2Aspirations Startup India Pvt Ltd and are protected by Indian and international law.
• Limited licence: we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial career guidance.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company, its directors, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data or career opportunity) arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service. The Company's total liability for all claims relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.

9. External links

The Service contains links to third-party websites, universities and scholarship pages for your convenience. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, their content, privacy practices or availability. You access them at your own risk.

10. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate your access without prior notice if you breach these Terms, provide false information or engage in unlawful activity. On termination your right to use the Service ends and, subject to our Refund Policy, no refund is due.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and forms part of these Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal action arising out of these Terms or the Service.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and revise the "Last updated" date; for material changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
